" Hello fellow ebayers, and thanks for taking the time to look through my listing for this fantastic 2002 Saab 9-3 Turbo Convertible. I'm offering it today with a $1,000 starting price and NO RESERVE ... meaning it will sell to the highest bidder on Sunday night @ 9:15PM Eastern, 6:15PM Pacific! This Saab is so incredibly clean and well cared for that I trust ebay to find the right buyer and bring a final bid that will make us both happy. There are over 100 huge, hi-res pics below showing the car in obsessive detail. Why so many pics, you ask? I believe that buying a car online is a whole lot less scary if you can see every nook and cranny of what your buying. I've sold dozens of cars on ebay over the past 15 years and have maintained my 100% positive feedback by choosing exceptional cars and trucks and presenting them to buyers as I would like them to be presented to me. If you win, not only will you pick up an awesome Saab, but I'm a nice guy who's easy to work with ... especially when the buyer follows the ebay rules and the terms of this listing. This is my first time behind the wheel of a Saab, and I'm here to tell you this is a damn fun car to drive. It get's incredible gas mileage to boot! It has the factory books but did not come with maintenance records, and I've not taken it to the mechanic because everything works just fine. If for piece of mind you'd like me to take it in for a check up, I'd be happy to ... on your dime, of course ;) There are quite a few European auto mechanics in Palm Springs and the surrounding towns of Rancho Mirage and Cathedral City with good reputations. (My Mercedes mechanic is awesome and his rates are insanely cheap, although I'm not sure if he'd do the inspection since it's not German.) All this said, I wouldn't think twice about driving this Saab across the state or even cross country. Even the tires have plenty of tread! I would, of course, have the fluids checked/changed first. The overall physical condition of this car is remarkable. It's hard to believe it's 13+ years old. Clearly it's been consistently garaged by both owners. It's also hard to believe it has 126,000 miles ... it could pass for 26,000, especially the interior. As you'll see below, I couldn't stop taking pics of the interior, it's THAT nice! The paint is in phenomenal condition with no sun fade and the clear coat is completely intact. This Saab is 100% factory original and has had no paintwork or touch ups. There are a few nicks and a ding or two ... the most noticeable being near the gas cap ... but they do not detract from the aesthetic of the car. Well, at least they don't to me ... you can judge for yourself. You'll see a pic where the antenna has been broken off at the base, but the radio still tunes in stations fine so I'm guessing that the small, black, antenna-like thing on the other side is a modern replacement? I really have no clue; all I know is the radio works fine. Finally, if this is the original top, and I'll bet that it is ... it's near perfect. No fading, no holes ... virtually no wear at all, either inside or out. And it works perfectly, too, going up and down with the push of a button.
