I purchased the car wrecked at a insurance salvage auction. So, I do not know the exact history. I purchased the car around Feb 2010. We repaired the car and I have been driving the car since approx June of 2010. I really like and enjoy this car. The car now has approx 21k miles. I have really enjoyed driving the car, it had 17k when I purchased it. The car appears to have been involved in a single vehicle accident, the reason the car was at a insurance salvage auction. In my opinion, the driver let the car get away from him, you know spinning tires or something.It looked as though the car hit a fence or similar just behind the passenger front tire. When this happened, the computer, which is located behind the front pass fender came out. The computer and wiring harness was drug across the ground and approx 30 wires were skinned or broke.So, we carefully reattached each wire, solder and heat shrink, and remounted the computer. For the past 4k miles the car has been mechanically flawless. So, since I had to purchase a pass front fender, I spent a little extra $ and purchased a Z06 kit from Ecklers Corevtte. The kit included all of the proper brake duct work and other necessary pieces under the nose and fenders.The front nose and fenders are Ecklers fiberglass.The rear fenders and tailpiece are GM.The wheels are chrome, from Ecklers and the tires are new. This car has been computer tuned at a local shop for approx 2 hours of drive time on the road. They spent a lot of extra time to make this car run super smooth, very nice and amazing. This car has approx 450hp at the rear wheel. So, the flywheel hp would be around 545hp. The 2006 Z06 was rated for 505hp, so this car has MORE than a Z06. The engine has a stock bottom end. The heads have been removed and ported and polished. The lifters were upgraded to the LS7 roller. Aftermarket cam. Aftermarket intake. American Racing Long Tube headers. Trans/rear has been built by Detroit Speed, a 4:10 gear with Z06 upgraded out drives and diff rebuild. The car runs and drives very smooth, it runs very nice and its extremely smooth and VERY FUN to drive. Everything works as it should on the car except the passenger side mirror does not power adjust properly. The power motor will run but the mirror will not move with the power motor, but, you can move the mirror with your finger. We try our best to describe our units in detail. Small items such as remotes, TV or key fob, floor mats, extra keys and cd cartridges may be missing, even though no stated as missing. The Buyer is responsible for a $295.00 dealer service process fee if inside the US and $495 dealer service process fee for buyers outside the US (this helps to cover the costs and related expenses.). If we do not mention a keyless entry, then we most likely do not have the keyless remote even though the vehicle might have had one when new. Shipping is only available after the item is PAID IN FULL. On all RVs especially older models there is almost always some delamation. If you can not send a deposit within 24 hours please do not bid. What it does mean is that while the miles shown are NORMALLY correct, I do NOT guarantee it. How could I possibly know the complete history of a 10-15 year old vehicle that I have only owned for very short time? On vehicles 10 years old or older the titles can be labeled exempt for miles. A large percentage of the time the older RVs have an exhaust leak. I do NOT accept PayPal for final payment, PayPal is for deposit only.
