I bought this Honda Hawk GT new and rode it quite a bit for a couple years. Then my career has a heavy equipment field mechanic got so busy that I very rarely rode it any more. I stickered it in 2000 but never got the time to get it running and go riding. Last summer I took the carburetors off, tore them down and cleaned them well. I used jumpers and my tractor battery and got it running. I let it run for a good half hour and made sure it was running well. I drained the carbs and ran the system dry and put it back in the garage to think about what I wanted to do with it. I had decided to part it out on Ebay but a friend talked me into listing it as a whole bike before I did. It has some corrosion here and there, a couple small tank dents and the crust that results from sitting for so long. Look the pictures over and please ask any and all questions before you make an offer. I have the tool kit, the owner's manual and a Honda factory shop manual . This bike has only 8.290 miles on it and has been maintained well. Mechanically it is in great condition. As you can see the muffler is off and so is the airbox. The seat, tank and rear cowl are just sitting on it. If it does not sell I will tear it down completely, sell the parts and make double the offering price.
