This 1970 chevelle is a fame off build that took under a year to complete. To start this build we stripped the car down to its bare frame. After refinishing the frame in Hot Rod red we started the reassembaly proses. Starting with a fully rebuilt 12 bolt rear end. with a new possie unit, 342 gears an all seals an fluid this rear end is better then new. To top it off we instailed a new disc brake upgrade to the rear to make sure there would be no stopping issues. To complement the rear brake upgrade the front brakes were all replaces as well as the brake booster an master cylinder. The 454 Big Block has a mild cam to give it that tru muscle car sound. To add to the performance an sound we instailed a performance edelbrock intake, edelbrock carb, billit distributer and ceramic coated long tube headers. To back the power plant we instailed a 400 turbo trans, allowing this car to cherp the tires in 2nd an 3rd gear. To make shur we got all the power to the rear end we ordered a fully balanced,new from front to back drive shaft. We wanted to insure there were no issuse so we replaced the old under hood wireing harness with a new oem replacement. Along with a new water pump, high torque mini starter, four core aluminum radiator, trans cooler, belts an hoses. This drive tran will get you any where you would like to go. To finish off this Big Block we used new 3'' single chamber flowmasters with 45 degree turn downs befor the rear axle. To make shur the body would be up to the same standards as the drivetrain we instailed new quarter panels on both right an left sides. The trunk pan was also replaced as well as the drivers door shell. The remaining panels of the car were all in great condition. All pinch welds on trunk lid, passanger door, under hood an fenders are in perfect condition. New oem replace body bushings and bolts were used to mount this new restored body back onto its frame. To finish off the body we used SEM hot rod black to show off the hot rod red frame. We wanted the interior to have a classic look with just a few upgrades. We had the seats redone in a black vinal with red chevy bowties inbroderd in the seat backs. At the same time we had matching door panels and a dash pad made with a red double stitch to bring a little color into the inside. Oem carpet was instailed along with new kick panels, step sells and all new rubber seals. The origenal front window was starting to yellow so we decided that it had to be replaced. This muscle car had to sit just right so we ordered a offset wheel combo. With 20'' boss 308 rims in the front and matching 22'' rims in the rear we got the look we were going for. But she was sitting a little to high to we lowered the front 2'' and the rear 3''.
