1983 Toyota Hilux Pickup Truck I bought this truck about a year ago from a guy at the local hardware store. He had done a good bit of work to it before selling it to me (said he refurbished it for his son, who decided he wanted a car instead). He rebuilt the engine, all the brakes, fuel system and more. The AC is ice cold and the heat is hot. The 4wd works great and it shifts through all the gears fine. The previous owner (Ed) repaired the frame in two places and it appears to be quite solid. Virginia inspection was current until a few days ago. I see no reason why it wouldn't pass inspection again. Headlights and grill have been converted to single round headlight from 79-81 body style.The tires have good tread but are starting to crack. The bed is rough and the interior could use some love, the radio and fuel gauge recently quit working. I used the truck to haul wood and hay around my property this year with no issues. The engine sounds and runs great. I am only selling because I prefer 89-95 Toyota pickup truck body styles. Clear title in hand. Deposit required, pickup in 7 days. This is not one of these mint condition Toyota trucks that go for a ridiculous amount of money. It is however, a good old truck. I am not interested in trades and if you need to ask permission to bid or don't have money, please refrain from bidding and also wasting my time and yours. Truck is sold As-Is with no warranty.
