Hello,this listing is for a 1-owner 1990 Mazda MX-5 Miata with 59k original miles. My good friend bought this car brand new in California in December of 1990 and brought it with him to Illinois in 1994. He has babied it the entire time. A recent divorce and move forces him to sell it. I can answer most anything about the car,but can relay any questions to him that I can not answer. I have the clear IL title in-hand,as well as every single maintenance record since new,along with the window sticker,shop manual,owners manuals,etc,etc. Very clean car in and out. Runs and drives great. This is a B-Package car with power windows,cruise control,leather steering wheel,headrest speakers,am/fm cassette with CD player,floor mats,Limited Slip rear-end,Hardtop,and Air Conditioning. It has a new battery,clutch,timing belt,and brakes all the way around (rotors and pads). All of that with under 40-miles since new. This car did have the crankshaft issue that some of these early cars had,it was repaired by replacing the engine with a low-mileage JDM replacement with the better keyway/bolt design. The car has aftermarket BBS ASA 17-inch wheels,the tires are at full-tread all the way around and all match. There is a set of lowering springs on it,along with aftermarket sway bars. The factory sway bars are included. There is also a aftermarket header and exhaust system on it,sounds good,not obnoxious. This car was adult owned it`s entire life,anything done to it was done by the original owner. It has never been wrecked. The original paint looks great overall. The only issues I see with the body is a small ding on the passenger headlight cover,minor paint chipping on a small spot on the front bumper cover,and very minor bubbling on the right rear quarter panel just behind the door. The interior is in great shape overall,the only issue I could find is a corner on the center console armrest has worn through,everything else looks great. The soft top and boot are both in great shape overall. The only thing the car needs mechanically is the A/C to be recharged,it just never got done after the crankshaft issue was fixed. Other then that it runs,drives,and functions as it should. I am sure that I am forgetting something,so please,please,please feel free to ask any questions!!
