I am the original owner, the car has been a faithful and trusted vehicle for 11 years. Garage kept, no major accident, never flooded. In the last 5,000 miles, the car has developed an engine rattle and consumes oil. A Porsche mechanic has diagnosed bad oil ring that has scored the #5 cylinder. Oil rings are a known weakness in the early Cayennes. Car is not down on power an still gets 19 mpg on the highway. Everything else works as designed. No warning codes and recently passed emission testing in NJ.
