I purchased this car as a certified used car from Mercedes with 9,600 miles on it in 2005. Never been smoked in or driven off road. Has low miles. Has one scratch on the front bumper, a few minor rust spots, and one ding in the back (upper right). Runs great and everything works (except the phone service isn't hooked up). All original body panels, paint, etc. - no bodywork done on it ever. Interior is great. No rips/tears, etc. Has black grill guard and chrome light guards/cages, and very few miles on new tires. Clean and clear title. Includes all original books and manuals. All service performed by Mercedes Benz. Black paint with black leather and burl wood interior. I highlighted the rust spots, the ding, and the scratches. I'm trying to be as up-front as I can. I realize I'm overstating the wear-and-tear, but I don't want the buyer to have any surprises. I look at all these cars online where people say they are perfect, and you can see there is more rust and way more wear and tear than my car has. I'm way overstating the rust, as you'll see. 5/3/2015 - I've been getting a lot of the same questions, so here are the answers for all to see.- Yes the 6-disc CD changer works, and I even have an extra 6-disk magazine- Yes all the window regulators work, as they all have failed and been replaced over time- Yes I have navigation disks for every region of the country- Yes these are the original stock factory wheels, with no curb-surfing or curb-rash on them- Yes the heater heats very hot and the AC cools very cold- Yes there are front and rear seat heaters and they all work- Yes the sunroof is fully operational- No there are no check engine lights on. The only message is the one telling you that Teleaid/SOS is inactive.- Yes the spare is a good full-size tire with good tread- Yes the spare cover is the original factory spare cover- Yes I have both original keys and the keys for the spare tire- The computer tells me the next service is due in 5,300 miles- No I don't have a lien or make car payments on this- No I don't want to trade it for anything other than money- I don't care if you have local buyers who want my car, I will not pay you to sell it for me- No you cannot write me a check for more than the selling price and have me give you money back- No I won't finance it. I'm not a used car lot.- No I will not ship the car to Nigeria in return for a portion of Reverend Botohumbu's fortune that was frozen in a revolt- I am not poor, stupid, desperate, or in financial distress. I do not sell cars for a living and am not dumping a piece of crap that I picked-up on a trade. This is my personal car. I've been driving it and having it maintained for 10 years. I know it's history and know that it has been properly maintained and garaged. It is a great car and I want to see it go to a good home. The first owner had leased it. When I bought it, I initially leased it, and then I bought out the lease to keep it 2008.
