My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a beast of a 1996 Ford F-250 HD 4x4 with the standard cab and desirable long bed. I would rate the exterior of this truck to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the truck is painted flat black. It looks like the truck was originally blue. At some point, somebody spray canned it black. It looks pretty cool but obviously wasn't professionally done. Below the flat black paint, the body doesn't look bad. I can see some obvious previous rust repair on the cab corners. The fenders show a few rust bubbles under the paint but look good for their age. The body itself looks straight and smooth. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original front bumper has been replaced with a heavy duty metal front bumper which looks pretty aggressive. The frame rails look good. The factory steel wheels show well and are wrapped in an aggressive set of tires with good tread all around. I would rate the interior of this truck to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. It's not that the interior is dirty or anything...the pictures can show this better. The bench seat that came standard with this truck has been removed and replaced with buckets and a center console out of an extended cab truck. The seats are clean and comfortable, though. The carpet or vinyl floor has been removed. The interior is pretty basic. The windows roll up and down easily. The original stereo has been replaced with an aftermarket CD player and the speakers have been upgraded. The heater works well. Overall...thing bad, just don't expect to win any trophies at your local car show with this one. Mechanically, this truck is in surprisingly good running and driving condition. The 351ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an old truck. The HD suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. Other than an ABS light, there have been no idiot lights on. The engine makes good power and feels strong. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are nice and smooth as they should be. There are three things you should know about this truck that will need attention. First, the parking brake does not work. Second, the button that switches from the front to the rear fuel tank is taped in position. I haven't messed with it but I'm assuming it's there for a reason. The third thing is the transfer case. When I pulled the lever back to put the transfer case into 4Hi, the truck acted like it was in neutral. I tried to move the lever back to neutral to see if I could get it into low range but it won't move back past the 4Hi position, which behaves like neutral. The shifter moves freely between the 2Hi and 4Hi positions but something isn't right. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no issues. In fact, I couldn't get over how nicely this truck drove. She has a current PA safety inspection good through the end of December, 2015. None of the issues require immediate attention. The fuel tank just is what it is. So is the parking brake, although you should probably get that fixed. The 4WD issue won't become important until next winter so you have plenty of time to deal with that. If you're looking for a solid, heavy duty truck and don't want to pay top dollar for a pretty one, this truck deserves your consideration. It was sold to me TMU (true mileage unknown) and it will be sold that way. Vehicle's over ten years old are exempt from odometer disclosure and are often marked as TMU/exempt when they are traded in at large dealerships. Hello and thank you for looking at my auction. My name is Joe and I sell vehicles differently than most dealers. Buying your next car or truck through one of my NO RESERVE auctions is the best way to take the games out of your next automotive purchase. I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to read this entire description as well as our Terms & Conditions carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction.
Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a beast of a 1996 Ford F-250 HD 4x4 with the standard cab and desirable long bed. I would rate the exterior of this truck to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. As you can see, the truck is painted flat black. It looks like the truck was originally blue. At some point, somebody spray canned it black. It looks pretty cool but obviously wasn't professionally done. Below the flat black paint, the body doesn't look bad. I can see some obvious previous rust repair on the cab corners. The fenders show a few rust bubbles under the paint but look good for their age. The body itself looks straight and smooth. The hood, doors and tail gate all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The original front bumper has been replaced with a heavy duty metal front bumper which looks pretty aggressive. The frame rails look good. The factory steel wheels show well and are wrapped in an aggressive set of tires with good tread all around.
I would rate the interior of this truck to be in BELOW AVERAGE CONDITION for its age and mileage. It's not that the interior is dirty or anything...the pictures can show this better. The bench seat that came standard with this truck has been removed and replaced with buckets and a center console out of an extended cab truck. The seats are clean and comfortable, though. The carpet or vinyl floor has been removed. The interior is pretty basic. The windows roll up and down easily. The original stereo has been replaced with an aftermarket CD player and the speakers have been upgraded. The heater works well. Overall...thing bad, just don't expect to win any trophies at your local car show with this one.
Mechanically, this truck is in surprisingly good running and driving condition. The 351ci V8 starts easily and runs smoothly. I didn't notice any leaks and the engine does not smoke. Her road manners are good for an old truck. The HD suspension feels tight and well sorted. The brakes and steering feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and excellent oil pressure. Other than an ABS light, there have been no idiot lights on. The engine makes good power and feels strong. The clutch engages smoothly and does not slip or chatter. Gear changes through the manual transmission are nice and smooth as they should be. There are three things you should know about this truck that will need attention. First, the parking brake does not work. Second, the button that switches from the front to the rear fuel tank is taped in position. I haven't messed with it but I'm assuming it's there for a reason. The third thing is the transfer case. When I pulled the lever back to put the transfer case into 4Hi, the truck acted like it was in neutral. I tried to move the lever back to neutral to see if I could get it into low range but it won't move back past the 4Hi position, which behaves like neutral. The shifter moves freely between the 2Hi and 4Hi positions but something isn't right. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no issues. In fact, I couldn't get over how nicely this truck drove. She has a current PA safety inspection good through the end of December, 2015. None of the issues require immediate attention. The fuel tank just is what it is. So is the parking brake, although you should probably get that fixed. The 4WD issue won't become important until next winter so you have plenty of time to deal with that. If you're looking for a solid, heavy duty truck and don't want to pay top dollar for a pretty one, this truck deserves your consideration. It was sold to me TMU (true mileage unknown) and it will be sold that way. Vehicle's over ten years old are exempt from odometer disclosure and are often marked as TMU/exempt when they are traded in at large dealerships. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

Winning Bidders:

Full payment is due within 7 day of the auction's end. The prefferred method is to bring cash in person to complete the sale. If you are unable to bring cash in person within seven days or will be having the vehicle shipped, we also accept Certified Checks, USPS Postal Money Orders, and wire transfer.
PayPal is not an accepted payment method. This includes Bill Me Later.
We cannot accept credit cards or personal checks.
Vehicles that are not picked up within 14 days of auction's end will be charged a $10/day storage fee, unless other arrangments are made.
Non-paying Bidders:
We take great pride in our work and are very serious about what we do. Likewise, we expect the people who bid on our auctions to be serious about honoring their bid. If you are the successful bidder for any of our auctions and do not pay for your vehicle within the specified time, an Unpiad Item case willbe opend with eBay. This can severely restirct yur ability to purchse from all eBay sellers. You will be charged a $249 re-listing fee. All unpaid fees will be handed over to a collection agency and pursued to the fullest extent of the law.
Fee and Tax Information: The only fee added by the seller is our $149 fee. This is used to isolate our fixed expenses such as eBay fees, transportation, processing, etc., and is not applied to any costs incurred by the purchaser.
The purchaser is responsible for any and all costs associated with transfer of ownership including, but not limited to: registration, sales tax, tags (including temp or in-transit tags), title transfer, inspection, and transportation expenses.
We are a PennDOT issuing agent and able to complete most tag, registration, and title work, as well as collect sales tax, for Pennsylvania residents.
For out-of-state buyers PennDOT offers a 30-day temporary tag (aka In-Transit tag). The cost is $45 and the buyer must show a valid driver's license and current proof of insurance. We can issue them at our office.
