Delivered new from Suburban Motors in Troy, MI, this beautiful Toronado has always been in Michigan, stored and covered inside. This was always a special occasion car and never driven in bad weather. This well executed body style is showcased in the Toronado Caliente color scheme of triple Claret and looks like it just rolled off the showroom a short while ago. This particular Toronado was fortunate to have been purchased new by a collector that has kept the car covered in a dry garage with regular maintenance and just enough use to keep everything properly lubricated and running smooth. It simply does not get any better than this. I have confidence saying that it would be very difficult to find another Toronado of this body style in the kind of condition as this beautiful example. The tires were replace in 2012 and the latest battery was installed in 2013, other than those two items and regular maintenance this is and original car.The Caliente Toronado was built to compete with the Cadillac Biarritz and Lincoln Mark V. Only 5,007 were built. First of all it has the Caliente package which adds addition side trim, rocker molding, special padded top and trim as well as additional stainless molding to the hood and trunk.In addition, the car is equipped with leather interior, split seat with power on both side plus passenger recline, power mirrors, power trunk release, tilt wheel, cruise control, lamp monitors, sport steering wheel, pulse wipers, Tempmatic Climate Control, digital dash, cornering lamps, carpeted mats,etc. The original dealer also provided a full size spare tire / wheel which is brand new and goes with the car.All the options work as new, the air blow cold, the power antenna works great, the digital dash is perfect.Looking at the underside of the car you can see that the Toronado was always properly stored and what wonderful care this car has received since new.
