This SL starts easily and drives well. Needs cosmetic work or can be a driver as is. Exterior is repainted red. All door jams and inner fenders painted in the process. The clear coat is faded. Minor dent and door dings. No body damage. It has both tops. Black soft top is good. Top mechanisms work properly including the rear pin release. The dash is in excellent condition. Seats and headrest have been recovered and are in excellent shape. The wood veneer is in poor shape. Interior door panels are in good shape and the glove box door latch works. All glass is good. Window motors work and are quiet. Exterior lights and turn signals work. Wipers work. Spare tire OK. New battery installed in 2014. The AC is all there but I have never hooked it up. Radio is after market and inop. The car starts easily with no delays even after sitting for weeks. The engine has no abnormal sounds, tapping, no belt squeaks, knocking or otherwise. Oil pressure is good, does not overheat, can idle at length. Dash gauges work. No oil or fluid leaks after it has been sitting in one place. Transmission shifts smoothly. Brakes operate properly. Power steering operates properly. The SL has a current Georgia title and registration. It is a fun car to drive. I have owned the auto since 2008 and have only put 600 miles on it. It has always been garaged.
