Many people look at this vintage beauty and see a mid-century toaster on wheels. Maybe the toaster was the design inspiration for this beauty, but you know what? The most beautiful toasters in all of history came out of the 1960's. Adorned with highly polished chrome and bright colors. They were not just for browning sliced bread, they were a functional piece of art you placed on your counter top, there for all of the world (or at least your houseguests) to see. This toaster is a functional piece also; a source of reliable transportation and art for all who drive by to see. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if in a pinch you could throw a slice on the aircraft inspired jugs to brown some bread. This R60/5 toaster tank could be yours. Oh, and being a late 1973 model this is the rare and sought after long wheel base (LWB) model or as I like to call it special edition toaster. Her numbers are matching and this bike has provided me with many hours of toasting fun. She has always fired up with just a tap of the start button, and has never let me down not matter how far the journey took me.This bike needs nothing but you. I wouldn't hesitate to hop on this bike and ride it to California and leave behind the aroma bread being baked for the second time.
