I'm listing this car for a friend. It is a real Fuel Injected car. It does have the air cleaner hole in the radiator support and the correct 6500-7000 redline tach. It now has a rebuilt and very strong running 65 model 327 with a Holley carb and M21 Muncie transmission. The independent rear suspension was removed years ago and replaced with a 10 bolt solid rear end. Easily changed back since 63 to 82 Vettes are the same. The complete front end was rebuilt. Exhaust is like new. Tune up is recent. Cable drive tach works. Needs speedometer cable. Clock works. Wonder bar radio works but needs a new speaker. Paint on the car is driver quality with some chips and normal wear. Same owner since 1999. Has disk brakes on the front since the old front drums are unsafe. Both front and rear brakes have been rebuilt and stop the car as they should. Has both tops. Has 15x7 rally wheels and new Michelin radials. I rode in it today and it runs very strong and straight. Has a Flaming River tilt steering column installed which can also easily be changed back. He also has the ignition shielding for the engine. The hood is not original to the car. I don't see any stress cracks and the body lines and seams look good for a 63 Vette. The reserve on this car is very reasonable by what I see junkers selling for. This car is tight and a very nice driver or local show car. You would not believe the people that were driving by and yelling as I was taking pics to list this. Any questions please feel free to ask. On Mar-25-15 at 18:16:00 PDT, seller added the following information: If this car sells and I do believe it will, I can put you in touch with a person that would have a correct 63 engine and a correct fuel injection unit for a 63. I talked to him today and he quoted me a good price on the unit. Less than half of what they are selling for on eBay. This car put back to its former glory lists for over 100 grand by NADA.
