1969 Mustang Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE Up for sale is a clean and very rare 1969 Ford Mustang fastback. This is a matching number’s car with factory engine and transmission. Original R-plant (San Jose, California) car with black & gold 60’s license plates. The 302 V8 was rebuilt 5 years ago along with the C-4 auto trans and hardly driven since. Starts right up on first key turn and has tons of power but it’s very easy to drive with all the factory power options it's equipped with. The car in excellent mechanical shape and can be used as a daily driver today. Clean California title in hand. Car needs nothing but a new home and caring owner. The 69’ fastback has been voted by many as the most desirable Mustang body of all time and they keep increasing in value every year. Great examples like this one are only getting harder to find. This car was restored back in 2009. It included the power-train rebuild, professional paint job, and interior. It has all original sheet metal and glass in perfect condition. The body on this fastback is as straight and clean as they come. True virgin-body pony that has never had any rust repair, been in an accident, or had and body panels replaced. Perfect ¼” gaps between doors, fenders, trunk, and hood. Doors open and close like the day it rolled off the assembly line. The paint is like glass and the car looks stunning in any light. Engine has roughly 5k miles since the rebuild and runs excellent. It was upgraded with a Flame Thrower electronic ignition system, Edelbrock electric choke carb, aluminum RPM intake manifold, mild race Comp Cam, K&N air filter, and a new exhaust system. The C-4 auto trans shifts smoothly into all 3 gears. It has factory power steering and power disc brakes which work perfect and the car doesn’t leak a drop of oil. It came equipped from factory with air conditioning but the engine bay components have since been removed. Blower system works fine and everything inside the car is functional so it wouldn’t be too much work to have it blowing cold air again. Aside from the A/C all of the electrical system works as it should. Suspension and steering is great and the car is stable and feels safe at any speed. This thing is a blast to drive and turns heads everywhere. I will have the fastback available for inspection by any interested buyer during this auction.
