Hello All,I am selling an 2002 VW Beetle TDI Diesel with only 141,704 miles. The car runs and drives but there is JUNK TITLE And Now the rest of the story:I bought this car more than 2 years ago from an online charity auction(where it was donated) in Texas with a bad motor. Well I found out the motor was bad when it got here. Anyway, the auction processed the title to the car as a " Junk", Well at that time Georgia would allow you to get a "Bonded" title once repairs were made. But my mechanic took several months(more like forever) to find and install a motor in the car. And by that time Georgia law changed that would not allow a Bonded title to be issued. To my knowledge and experience it has NEVER been wrecked, I would not invested the money to repair if it had. The Auction I bought this car from would often and for no reason apply for Junk or Salvage titles on perfectly good cars, As they put it " It was easier to apply for Junk or Salvage then process for a clean title". Oh according to the lady I spoke" it does not make a difference in the value of the car".....Yeah right. Needless to say I put the car off to the side and forgot about it. Would like to recover some of my money, but consider what I paid and cost of motor and install I'm still gonna loose. The new motor I'm told had close to same miles as the car.
