-- GREAT TRUCK -- 1991 GMC Syclone Turbo Truck, all wheel drive, There were less than 3000 total built. NADA books this truck on low end $11,700, Avg $18,200, hight end $25,800 check nadaguides This truck is very collectible, in 1991 it was the fastest accelerating vehicle. This truck on a scale of 1 to 10 is a 9, It has 111300 miles, engine rebuild at 110,000 miles. I have had this truck for 10 years and it has been Garaged and covered the entire time. I have a full set of factory manuals for it. The engine is rebuilt, bored out for JE422F Forged -26cc dish racing pistons, JE Pro Seal Ring Set. Rods are the bigger GM Romulus rod 045 casting. The rotating assembly has been balanced, Has a new cam chain drive (real chain), high volume oil pump, CPI heads that have been completely gone through and reworked, all new cam, rod, and main bearings. Turbo has been rebuilt and impeller upgraded from the 17C to 19C. Has a new MSD 6A ignition. It has the ECU SyTychip 10 in 1 so you can adjust boost levels from stock to 24psi. it even has a valet mode that you can password lock,It has the bigger upgraded MAP sensor. Has a WALBRO GSS307M fuel pump. The Truck has never been wrecked and no rust or dents. (Reason For Engine Rebuilt is piston ring lands broke, I heard this is common to happen on the Syclone, because stock pistons are hypereutectic and they are very hard and brittle and are prone to break in a turbo application. This is why I went with Forged Pistons. ) I have lots of pictures through the rebuild. I have the Receipts and papers. There is other things, but not time to list them all. Engine is new, runs good and built stronger than stock. Also has original owners manual and cover, paper work, and wheel hub lock wrench. There is a bed cover on the truck you just can not see it, it is in real good shape, plus it has a bed rubber mat in bed, bed is clean and not scratch up or dented , looks nice. The codes are 22 TPS Throttle position sensor (sensor voltage low) 42 ICM Ignition control module (spark timing bypass circuit malfunction) The mechanic at Imperial Auto said most likely it is the ICM (ignition control module)cost about $50.00 (it's in the distributor), would cause these codes.It's just that the computer is being picky. The Truck runs good, so I never got around to fixing it........
