Hello,this listing is for a rare 1974 Plymouth Road Runner GTX U-Code 440,one of reportedly either 386 or 79 made,I have been told both numbers,so it is either rare or really rare. This vehicle was part of a storage auction sale and does not currently have a title with it!! It is up to you to obtain a title. I do have the paperwork from the storage facility showing that it was legally sold,you will need this to apply for a title. Different states have different procedures,in IL you have to go before a judge and file for motion of ownership,I am doing it on one car already right now. The good news,is that because it came from a storage sale,that means you are not required to get a bonded title. I know it is a much easier process in Wisconsin and Indiana. I will give you the paperwork I received from the storage facility,a copy of my receipt from them,and write you out a bill of sale if needed. A vin search was done and the car came back clean. Anyways,this car was partially restored by the previous owner. Alot of work was done,but it still needs more yet. It has a nice 6-point cage installed with swing-out door bars,no other modifications besides the cage. All of the front suspension and k-member pieces have been restored and ready to re-install. The engine harness looks like it was all replaced. The engine bay,front rails,firewall,floors,and door jambs have all been repainted the factory red color. As far as i can tell it is missing the engine,transmission,rear glass,front seats,and console. Everything else appears to be present,along with some extras. There is an extra passenger side door and fender,rear bumper,and more. Not everything is pictured!! The car does have a 8-3/4" Sure-Grip rear axle and does have the Rallye Tach cluster in it with the 120mph speedometer. Nice uncut dashboard,dash pad,etc. Includes (4) 14" Rallye wheels. Way too many parts to list and/or picture. The floors and frame rails are all solid. The doors,fenders,and hood all look good. It looks like there was some work done to the rear quarters,I am not sure to what extent. The doors are complete with glass,regulators,etc. There are a few new or new old stock parts included. Again,way too many parts to list or take pictures of!!! I have everything currently stored in 2 separate locations about 30-min from each other. This is a great project for someone,just not me....I`m a Ford guy. I would like it to be payed for and picked up within 1-week from end of listing,if you need more time to pick it up please ask first.
