Much as I don't want to, I'm selling my 2002 Fuel Injected (I try not to do carbs) CBR 1100xx Silver Blackbird. If you know this bike,you know it's awesome. This is the best bike I've ever owned. Honda only imported them for a few years (this was the second to last). At the time, they were the fastest production bike in the world. Now, it's about third. It's mechanical limits greatly exceed mine. I'm 55 years old, which didn't happen by routinely exceeding my mechanical limits. Just sayin'. If you're not an experience rider, this will be too much bike for you. But just let me say, no matter where you are in the power band, this little gem can get out of the way. First the "bad": right lower fairing has some scratches. The bike tipped over during picture taking. I've included a close up picture. It's not much, but it's there. Tires are Michelin Pilots with about 40% left. The good: It goes where you want it to handles like a dream. The stock exhaust has been replaced with a very nice set of pipes. I saved the originals for you. The handle bars were changed to a VFR set which brings them up and back about an inch or so. I have the originals for you as well. Just gave it a fresh (full synthetic) oil change and a brand new upgraded Yuasa battery. I have the clear title in my name and in hand. No test rides. Selling as-is, for local pickup only but I will cooperate with any shipper you arrange and pay for. $500 deposit via Paypal within 24 hours of sale. Balance, cash only. I can store the bike for a reasonable time, as long as it's paid for. Someone asked me why I didn't have any pics with the bags on the bike. He was wondering if the pipes interfered with that. They don't. I've added three pictures with the bags on the bike. They're in my garage so they're not the best exposure, but the go on perfectly and when the bags are locked closed, they are also locked on the bike. I should have thought of that earlier.
