1981 AMC Eagle Kammback! I'm moving cross-country and very regrettably will not be able to take my AMC Eagle Kammback with me. It's been my Summer driver for the past few years. The car is a 6 cylinder model with the 258 engine and automatic transmission. I had an Eagle previously with the 151 engine and this one has a lot more power. Like all Eagles, it's four-wheel drive. The car was originally in New Mexico and then was moved to Wisconsin by an AMC collector. He then later took the car to Alabama where I purchased it from him. It's been a great car! I believe this color is called 'Aztec Gold'. The odometer says 27,000, but it very well could be 127,000 because there is no sixth digit in the odometer. The car is in great shape but isn't perfect. The horn button doesn't work, so at some point a horn button was added under the dash that works fine. Non-stock radio/CD player. The front leather seats aren't in great shape, but the car looks real nice with these seat covers. Some paint is flaking off the plastic trim here and there. No rot anywhere. Current Massachusetts inspection sticker. Clean Massachusetts title in hand. The previous owner told me the transmission was replaced shortly before I purchased it from him, and then I recently had a new carb installed last Fall. Newer front and rear brakes. There are a bunch of parts that will go with the car (i.e. extra door skins, grille, trim pieces, etc.). The car is in great shape and has always been a real head turner. It's currently garaged in Western Massachusetts. Not the best time of year to sell a car up here, especially when we're adding feet of snow per week, but I'll be moving shortly and time is short. Hopefully an AMC person out there would like to purchase and enjoy this beautiful and rare specimen. I'll really miss this car.... I'm starting this at $4,000 and NO RESERVE because it's got to go.
