Vehicle Detail

This car is as found except for $2500 worth of work to get to be a daily driver - new battery, carburetor, brake cylinders/lines, plug wires, oil change, etc...Sorry about lack of picks due to bad weather - will add a link mid-auction with more pictures on photo bucket. 383 2 barrel. Original carb included with sale. High quality cover included. Original dirt and grime include. Good tires. Southwestern car. Only rust above fender skirts - bubbles appearing. Dash has cracks due to our southwestern sunshine.Solid floors and truck Roof serviceable but needs lower rear glass re-stitched in place or replace roof cover.Interior does not appear to be original material but in excellent condition - some sort of black velour material. Just needs cleaning - dusty.Paint is sort of turquoise original color is more of a metallic light green which can be seen in engine compartment. The cars is now a reliable daily driver needing cosmetics and eventually new shock absorbers as the dampening seems weak. When I found the car it was parked since 2006 under a carport.Original spare and jack are in rust free trunk.Includes original shop manual.Look at my feedback and bid with confidence. I have sold many cars locally and overseas. I don't buy junk and do not want to misrepresent anything.I can assist on a local level with shipping cars and can get a car to a port for shipping overseas but will not deal with exportation or related paperwork. That being said I have sold many cars to europe over the years...even New Zealand and Australia. This is th e4th large Mopar of the era I have sold which includes 2 New Yorkers and a 300 - all happy customers. In any case, those looking for a big Mopar with mininal work required should consider this car....she is big and pretty and roars. ALSO, CAR HAS THE ORIGINAL TONNEAU COVER. NEW BELTS. AC intact but probably does not blow cold since I didnt charge it and its been sitting for years. Needs wiper blades and washer reservoir is cracked. No rust on frame or floor pans. rear trunk channels are rust free. I can only see parts of the trunk from under the car and do not want to peel back interior trunk liner but I can't see any rust through and we have had rain and the trunk remained nice and dry. Car is literally is as I found it - no attempt to clean or polish. The paint will shine for sure but is not perfect with some areas of flaking and the bubbles over the rear fender skirts (which is a shame due to the rest of the car being rust free). The car needs a good vacuuming and detailing. The engine has no strange valve train noise and sounds smooth as silk. Dual exhaust system looks pretty new except for the tail pipes (tips) look older. Nice low burble coming from the rear. Tires look great. Transmission shifts fine but a bit slow sometimes engaging into reverse. Mechanic figured its been sitting and just needs to be used more. Fluids all topped off. I had the car up to 70 on highway and pulls along nicely and quietly. Speedo works fine. Original radio works too. I did not test the roof out of fear that it would be stuck open - the mechanism was tested - starts to open just fine. I opened it a 20 inches and then back but having sat since 2006 I wanted to wait until nicer weather before messing with it. It may work perfectly but this is my first big american convertible and I'm not familiar with all the inner workings. So - bid accordingly - no promises.
