Vehicle Detail
3/4 Ton - 4.8 Gasoline V8 Engine Very nice, all original condition. Clean Carfax. Was owned since it was a year old by an Industrial Gasses Company and was used to transport an Oxygen tank, which was mounted inside the Cargo area. Oxygen tank was not very heavy so vehicle was never overloaded. Mostly all highway miles and very well maintained. All paint is original, only a couple of small scrapes on side Cargo doors and some peeling finish on hood. No rust or rot. Suspension, brakes, wheel bearings, electrical, all good, everything works. Tires are all matching Michelins with great tread. Spare looks to be unused. Small drilled hole high up on left rear, where an antenna was mounted. Two vents on lower rear sides, that were needed for it's use with Oxygen tank. Cargo floor has nice aluminum diamond plate and one side shelf. Runs and drives great. Engine is nice and smooth, no smoke, no leaks, starts easy. Brand new battery. Transmission works well and shifts nicely. When we first obtained the van, recently bought it from my neighbors company, the check engine light was on. I scanned it and the code was for a slipping Torque Converter lock up clutch. I erased the code with My scanner and it didn't come back. No check engine light on and no stored codes now. Didn't notice any symptoms when driving it. Should have a transmission filter and fluid change. At worst, a rebuilt Torque Converter is about $150 plus install. Small crack in right lower windshield, out of line of sight. Interior picture shows broken drivers arm rest but I ordered new one and it will be installed beginning of week. Tire pressure light is on. May need a tire pressure sensor. As we live in Northeast, we just bought a 2004 AWD (all wheel drive) Express Van that fitted our needs better, as we live in a snowy area. This Van drives beautifully, very smooth, and quiet. This is a very nice Van that could be used reliably for many years. As I am a Mechanic, I know my vehicles and this is a good one Clean Connectictut Title. BUY IT NOW!
