The wiring is unmolested and it still a 6 volt. There is absolutely no sign of it ever being in an accident. The VW has been gone through with brand new brake lines, tires, and rebuilt carb.The seats were also rebuilt, and reupholstered with NOS. (New Old Stock) I believe the color to be L-519 Bahama Blue, original paint and pretty straight body. There is no rust anywhere and the pan is so clean and solid you could probably eat from it :] It has 46k miles and what I was told and it seems to be true from appearance that these are the original miles and it has not rolled over. The lady who owned it used it as her town car. So drove it around town to store and back. It drives like a dream, shifts are smooth. Steering is firm, and brakes are tight. 40 horse engine The plates are random for the pictures.this VW was stored in its garage and lived in Kansas for its whole life. He wanted to cut it up and put a huge 2300 motor in it and turbo. he could not do that to this car.
