1955 CHEVY 210 2 DOOR SEDAN GREAT BUILDER PROJECTOne of the most desirable of all the Tri-5 Chevies This is a great start for a 55 Chevy build. It is getting harder and harder to find a good clean 55 2 door sedan these days. That is why they started making NEW bodies ($17,000 for a new body! wow! this cars too cheap) this car is super solid and straight all around it has had a new smooth trunk floor installed to loose the spare tire well. The doors, hood and trunk lid close great on it. I was told it was a NC car all its life. It is an original V-8 Stick Shift (still has clutch pedal) glacier blue 210 sedan. The gentleman I got it from did a lot of nice upgrades such as 2" drop spindles, disc brakes and dual master cylinder conversion. New gas tank and filler, new brake lines and hoses, new upper and lower ball joints, new upper and lower bushings. He also installed side engine mounts and a modern style cross member. I have a bunch of the parts not on the car such as the side trim the headlight buckets and chrome bezels, the hood bar, and a bunch of the interior parts (study the parts photos) I have the rear window and new front and rear gaskets but it will need a new windshield and side glass which can be had cheap. I also have a new wiring harness that comes with it. It has the original 55 bench seat but does not have a rear seat. He told me the engine in it is a 350 which he pulled from a 56,000 mile pick up truck. It has not been all hooked up yet so it is not running at this time, it is just bolted in and the Hooker Headers bolted to it. He also installed a long radiator support to run the long style GM radiator, i have an original style 55 radiator that goes with it. The car has Cragar s/s wheels and tires all around the tires are like new with a ton of tread left on them and the wheels are in nice shape as well. I do not have any bumpers for it. Like I said earlier this is a rock solid 55 that will not need $5000 worth of sheetmetal replacement. You can build a cheap gasser out of what you have here or a great Two lane Blacktop or American Graffiti clone. This car is money in the bank, there was never a time since these cars were new that they were undesirable. It will only continue to go up in value.
