1972 custom shorty beetle volksrod. This is my custom volksrod beetle it has been shortened up 26 inches, and will be the talk of any car show or gas station that you pull into. It is most def a show stopper. Gets all the thumbs up that you can handle. there has been countless hours of hard labor put into this beetle. It was painted plum crazy purple with metallic grey on the hood and deck lid. has custom headlights with signals built in. the tail lights are original. The tires are new with less than 300 miles. It is powered buy a 1600 duel port that like all beetles leaks a little oil. I put a new fuel pump on it but it will still need the carb adjusted or rebuilt. has not been drove much since last year. I would trailer it home un till this is done. it does not smoke and the trans shifts great. has been lowered with drop spindles and shocks. this is not a perfect beetle. the turn signal arm is broke and also the windshield wiper arm. it has a push button start along with the key. sometimes the push button works some times it don't it will need someone to mess with it to get it working good again.
