1968 Camaro 396 SS Convertible Clone NOM 396/402 350HP Out of a 1970 Chevelle 4 Speed Muncie Transmission W/Hurst Shifter Front Disc Conversion With All New Brake Hardware All Around New Headers & Dual Exhaust Manual Top New Aluminum Radiator & Brake Booster This car is a real looker and a treat to drive. The interior is in good shape with a little bit of wear, not flawless but very nice driver quality. Its not original to the car, its a Deluxe trim interior from another 1968 Camaro. The tachometer and the radio are inoperable. The right rear window goes up and down hard but does work. Everything else works good on the car. All of the weather stripping on the car has be replaced new. It looks like the right foot well has been professionally replaced *pictured* and the car has had quarters at some point. The paint (mariner blue) is recent and in nice shape but not original to the car. Has a couples small nicks but nothing that sticks out when walk around the car. The manual top is fairly new and is in good shape. We replaced the original 327 engine with a 396/402 350HP out of a 1970 Chevelle SS. The engine is mated to a Muncie 4 Speed transmission with a new clutch and pressure plate. It has a brand new Hurst shifter. We did a front disc conversion and gave it all new calipers, pads and rotors. It got a new master cylinder. T he car is a real head turner, cruises down the road as smooth as can be. You know how the saying goes, you can have some of the toys all the time, but you can't have all the toys all the time. Looking to sell this car to invest in another project.
