up for sale is my 1971 CJ750. it's currently registered, and has a clean title. "The CJ750 motorcycle is based on the 1956 Soviet IMZ M-72 which was derived from the 1938 BMW R71. Nearly all of them have sidecars. They are often erroneously referred to as BMW "replicas" when in fact, they are derivatives of the IMZ M-72.They were originally produced for the Chinese military and are powered by an air-cooled, four-stroke, opposed flat-twin engine displacing 746cc. The rear wheel is shaft-driven. It uses a 12V electrical system and is equipped with a reverse gear. It also has an electric starter . All of these enhancements were designed by the Chinese."4 forward gears and reverse. The bike cosmetically isn't in the best condition. I originally bought it to turn it into a "Wehrmacht" Replica, I lost interest after I got my hands on an authentic 1935 BMW R12. The bike runs, lights and starter work on the bike. The turns are shot, I was planning on removing them. the bike needs a new petcock or it to be rebuilt, It leaks a small amount of gas. The bike comes with a spare wheel carrier, rim, Tube and a small bag of parts. I should have a folder full of information and part diagrams on it too laying around. It's currently located in Garden Grove CA, a mile or two away from Disneyland. I don't mind if you'd like to come inspect it. I've had alot of interest in this bike Via Craigslist, But I'm tired of dealing with the people who just want to "talk about it". Looking to get rid of this ASAP, As I have another bike about to occupy this one's space in the garage. Feel free to ask any questions.
