1977 Mercedes 450SL Being Sold as-is. Vehicle was purchased in 1979 from the original owner. Always well maintained. Has 172,429 miles on it. Top end of engine was rebuilt at 148,018 miles. 24,411 miles on the rebuilt engine. Real knock off wire wheels, replaced in 2001 for $1250 each. This vehicle has been in storage since 2003. It has been taken out every couple of months but it is just driven around the parking area. Was under a plastic tarp for a while, a storm caused the plastic panels to break loose so the paint got scratched. Has been garaged ever since. There is a dent in the gas door, otherwise the body is in good shape. Soft top is in excellent condition Drives great, smooth shifting, Typical older car leaks, trans and power steering pump. A/C needs recharging, but should work.
