Wow!! what a barn find. This is a 1980 camaro berlinetta with 47k miles on it. I do have some documentation on the mileage. I have a inspection notice from early 90's before it was stored that states mileage around 47k. It has been in a barn for over 20 years. It is a very well optioned car in unbelievable condition.I do have original build sheet, title etc. from the original owner i bought from. For options it has tinted glass, insulation package, custom white interior, a/c, m20 4sp manual tranny, tilt wheel, space saver spare, stereo and 8 track, dual horns, gauges, windshied antenna, 305 v8 4 barrel. The build sheet has all special codes etc. i just mentioned all major options. The condition of the exterior is unbelievable. This car was also undercoated from factory and has orignial decal that i took a picture of (ziebart protected). The undercoating does make a mess of some of the engine carriage etc. but preserves the car unbelievable. There is absolutely no rust on this car exept for the rear valence panel that does have a little rust for some reason. The car does have its original paint so you can see whatever issues there are. The passenger side does have a few dents on the rocker panel and fender, but they are nothing a body man could not take out easily. The interior is very nice but does have issues with the seats. The rear panels do have the typical dry rot etc and the headliner fallen off. The door panels are perfect with no damage to door handles etc. The rear seats and passenger front seat are very nice, but the driver seat does have some damage. The dashboard is absolutely perfect and the console is as well. The console cover does have the typical warping and loosening of the cover that can be fixed, but does not have any rips etc. I took the carpet out because it was badly stained and i did want buyers to see the conditon of the undercarriage and sound deadening. Usually the sound deadening is broken up because of wear and miles. All the sound deadening is intact without any dry rot or damage.I have not started this car because i am so busy with my work. The engine turns over easy, but will not make any noise when you try to start it. I believe it is as simple as the nuetral safety switch, which i have replaced on my own camaro with same symptoms. The tranny shifts in between gears easily and based on the mileage i don't believe there is any problems with it. Everything is intact with this car. Nothing is cut etc. Even all or orignial 8 tracks etc are still in the console. The radio, a.c , dashboard etc. has never been taken apart and is just like it left the factory. The car is really like going in a time warp. Overall, you will not find a nicer car to work with for your dream pro-touring or restored camaro. This is a great piece to work with. It will have to be restored, but it is a great car to work with because of the options and condition. I was going to part this car out and take some parts for my camaro restoration, but it is to nice and i would like to see 1 more camaro on the road.
