PLANT / SEQUENTIAL # 109520 CLEAR TITLE IN MY NAME WITH NO LIENS 1955 Chevy 210 2dr sedan powered by a freshly rebuilt +.030” 400 SBC (with some go-fast goodies added / plenty of power) and a Saginaw 4-speed transmission with a Hurst shifter. Entire interior is brand new with custom leather over original ’55 seats. Wiring is all new. Car has had lots of restoration parts replaced. Car has had the dash and door jambs painted already and could be finish painted with a minimum of work….Assuming you like the color. ( Color: 2004 suburban / Silver Birch metallic Paint Code--- 926L ) Less than 500 miles since rebuild of everything To me the car is DONE…..If you must have PAINT, it’s almost done. CAR HAS NEW (partial list – have receipts for some, but just installation instructions for others)….Don’t know the exact amount spent, as I bought it from a friend and was afraid to ask – But trust me it’s A LOT…….And then I started spending from there!!! - Custom leather interior - Fresh motor / transmission / clutch setup - Billet dash insert with Autometer gauges - Complete Wiring (American Autowire) - Side mount engine mounts - Edelbrock Performer carb. w/ electric choke (polished) - Tubular transmission crossmember / mount - Powermaster Powermax starter - Front end components replaced as needed - Seat belts – aftermarket shoulder belts (fit for this car) - Stereo (looks old school but isn’t) - Electric windshield wipers - Radio antenna - Dynamat sound / heat insulation - Window fuzzies - Autometer Gauges / custom bezel (custom fit for 55 dash) - Heater control valve - Heater core - MSD Blaster coil - Power Disc front brake kit - Power brake booster / master cylinder / proportioning valve (all matched to each other) - Tachometer - Vent window seals - Upper door hinge seals - Door weather strip - Hood / cowl seals - Window stops - Firewall to hood seal - Billet distributor - Battery hold down - Package shelf - Trunk cardboards - Window cranks - Vent window cranks - License plate bracket - Bumper guards - Ignition switch - Comp Cams 268H camshaft - Flywheel - Torque Thrust wheels / tires - Trunk mat - Coated headers - Battery is new - Engine was completely rebuilt and all new parts were used (internal and external) - Front drop springs - Steering wheel - Floormats Car runs and drives well and has plenty of power Great investment…these cars just keep going up and up in price Things you should know before you bid: - A car like this should have full exhaust over the rear axle and out the back (right now it stops right before the rear end – sounds good though) - The body mounts / etc. on this car are good and solid, but years ago it had some floor patches put in, and they were riveted into place rather than welded. Would look much better if they were pieced in from proper replacement pan parts, then welded…..BUT you would have to completely remove the interior, and I’m not doing that….Body mounts / trunk / frame / rockers / spring hangers / body panels / firewall / etc. are all good - Speedometer jumps around…Not sure if it’s the cable needs re-routed or the speedo itself has an issue or?? (it’s all new parts??) - Heater was working fine, but now will only blow cold…..All parts are new, so may be as simple as the control cable coming off the heater valve, or new heater valve itself may be bad?? Again all new parts. All in all a very nice car with lots of money and time spent on it……And cheaper than building one yourself when you figure what a decent ’55 goes for these days BEFORE being completely re-done….Then add to that all of the parts and time that went into this car, and it becomes a real bargain. If you do the paint yourself, it should be worth more than you have invested for sure!!!
