Hello All We are selling a rare 2000 Saab 9-3 " VIGGEN " 5 speed convertible, with only 72,782 miles. This is a BANK REPO that will NEED WORK. The car starts and runs but has a rapid RATTLE or KNOCK in the engine over 2000 RPM, I'm told it could be bad main bearing so plan for the worst and hope for the best. I will tell you the oil is very dirty but as mentioned it does start and run smooth. It appears poor maintenance may have damaged engine. I bought the car in its present condition for the sole purse of re-selling. The body is in very good shape as well as the interior but will need cleaned. The top works as pictures and the tire are better than 80% tread left. Although the left front does have a slow leak. The bumper cover is loose on each side and shows cracks and scratches. Last the was an aftermarket radio installed that has been removed, I have the factory radio and cup holder. I would suggest that if your not a mechanic or friends with a mechanic or willing to invest some money in this car that you not buy it. If you do your research they are highly sought after because it offers the bigger 9-5 engine in a smaller convertible. KBB values this car at $5600-$6000 in good condition it will take allot less than than to repair it. I'm told that the engines from early 9-5 Saab Sedans will bolt in to the car, But will need to swap convertible parts to 9-5 motor. The car being sold AS-IS and I have clean title in have.
