You have a great opportunity to invest in a beautifully restored 1961 Ford Galaxie Sunliner Convertible. It is powered with a 390 V-8 and a smooth shifting Cruise O Matic Transmission. This car is with us on consignment from a local customer. He inherited this car for his uncle. The car was brought up from California. His Uncle did all body work and interior the car was stripped down to metal then painted back to its original factory color. At that time the interior was redone to look like it did coming out of Ford factory. So when our customer inherited it all that was left to do was the running gear. Both the motor and have been professionally rebuilt with less than 500 miles since the work has done. There was a 500 mile check up preformed on the motor and everything was great. Along with a fresh motor and Transmission with this car you will be getting new brake shoes, drums were just turned, new wheel cylinder, packed bearings, and the lines were bleed. This car also has new ball joints, tie rods, idler arm bushings, control Arms, sway bar links, shocks and new reservoir for the master cylinder booster. When the motor was done they did everything new radiator, water pump, coolant, carburetor, starter, spark plugs, cap and rotors, belts, heater core, and much more. We have over $11,000 in receipts just for the running gear alone. That does not include the car, paint, interior, chrome and the wheels and tires so you can do the math on how much money has been invested in this Classis. The paint is a few years old and still looks great. The chrome shines bright. It has a power white top that is like new. The motor for the top is currently not working. The gauges, heater, and lights are all in current working order. The radio is not. It steers wonderfully with its power steering and stops on a dime thanks to its power brakes. This is a car you can feel comfortable jumping in and driving across the county or go show it off and win a trophy at car show.
