A perfect example of an original and rust-free classic. Only 2700 of these convertibles were built back in 1962 and they are getting harder to find each year especially in this condition. This beauty has just 116,944 original miles (not verified), it's always been stored indoors and my Father mainly drove it on special occasions or years ago in a few car shows. Absolutely no rust issues anywhere and it has perfect original body panels throughout. As you can see from the pictures it's very straight and everything lines up just as it should. I just had the brakes re-done (Nov 2014). This powder blue car is lavishly equipped with power steering, power brakes, power windows, power top, self adjusting hydraulic system, walnut paneling, power door locks, dual exhaust, 6 way power seats and has air conditioning although the belts are not hooked up. Power is abundant from the 300-horsepower 430 cubic inch V-8. These Continentals set a standard that is still recognized for refinement, style and luxury. This gorgeous example embodies those standards perfectly. This car starts immediately, runs great, idles great, shifts great, and drives nicely. The convertible top is in great condition although it is not functioning properly (the part not working appears to be the hydraulic pump to lift/lower the top in place). I manually raised the top and you can see current pictures with the top up and down. The interior of the car should be restored. The car was repainted years ago but you have to look really close. You can hear the power seats motor working although the seat is not moving. I left it with the top up and had the brakes done and it is ready to drive. This beauty turns heads and gets thumbs up wherever we drive it. If you don't like being the center of attention when you're on the road then this car is not for you. I've got a clean title and it is ready to be transferred to its new owner.
