Vehicle Detail
This is a well-maintained smoke free vehicle with some expected wear and tear. The exterior paint is in excellent condition (you can clearly see the reflections in the photos) with a few rock chips that have been touched up on the hood. The hood and roof have some minor hail dings. Some of the finish is beginning to wear on the luggage rack and rear wiper. There is no rust visible, but the paint at the front of the passenger rear wheel is starting to bubble. The interior is all leather with no scratches or tears. The driver's seat has some expected cracks on the side from entry/exit. There are aftermarket Husky Liners front/2nd row/3rd row/cargo mats installed and are included along with the unused factory carpet mats. It's still being driven occasionally, so odometer reading will be slightly higher. The LT package includes a split audio system with controls in the rear, Bose speakers, a 6 CD changer, OnStar, steering wheel controls, power folding and heated side mirrors, cargo area net and shade, luggage rack cross rails, trailering package, 10 way power heated seats with driver memory, power adjustable pedals, XM radio, tri-zone (driver/passenger/rear) climate control with rear controls, universal transmitter (for garage doors, etc), electrochromic dimming rear view mirror with temp & compass, and 17" aluminum wheels. A locking rear differential and wheel flares were also added as separate options. The 3.42 rear end will get around 21 mpg on the highway (doing 65). Autotrac 4wd system was standard. (It automatically engages the front axle if the rear slips- I've driven this in the snow, and it handles very well.) A remote start system was professionally installed and includes one transmitter in addition to the two factory key fobs. I'm actually listing this Suburban for my parents. They're the original owners, and it's primarily driven by my Mom- a now retired school teacher. Dad's pretty meticulous about maintenance. Needless to say, this thing's been babied. The battery was replaced in 3/2010, and the plugs were changed at 85,000. The tires are Michelin Latitude Tour's with 45,000 miles on them and 9/32" remaining. Belt/idler/tensioner were replaced at 108,000. (Those are the highlights- they have a 1/2" thick folder of every repair record that I'm not typing out.) All accessories are in working order. The only functional problem is the slide release for the 2nd row seat- it currently only flips forward (which gives more room anyway). As much as I've tried to describe everything accurately, the vehicle is sold as-is. Title is clean and in hand and will be filled out with final sale price and name/address on buyer's ID. $500 deposit via PayPal required within 24 hours of auction close. Available for local pickup, or we will make all reasonable efforts to work with a shipper after full payment is received.
