The car was painted apparently a long time ago as the finish is badly oxidized. I believe that the paint could be detailed and made into a nice driver. We replaced the battery and the engine turned over nicely. Curiosity got the best of us. We drained the gas tank, replaced the points and plugs. The engine runs very well and hits on all 6 cylinders. There is a hint of blue smoke from the exhaust but I believe with a bit of driving it would clear up. We drove it around the property and the brakes work, however I would recommend a complete overhaul of the braking system. The transmission shifts and moves in all gears. There is minimal rust in the floors, you have to look under the car to see it. The frame looks very solid. There is no windshield glass installed but there is an extra windshield frame and glass that goes with the auction. The side curtains are clouded but may be able to be restored. The top looks to be useable. All of the trim pieces are in boxes and appear to be complete. I have tried to be very explicit in the description but I may have missed something.
