1958 Chevy Apache Fleetside Short Wide Bed Pickup. I bought this truck less than a year ago, but never had any time to restore it.It's drivable the way it is and I drive it around town when I need to haul something that won't fit into my car. *Clean Title/Pinkslip.*Previous owner had converted the six to a Chevy small block v8. Don't know if it's a 327 or a 350, but runs without any problems. *Previous owner also converted the manual transmission to a three speed automatic, Gm's Turbo hydromatic 350.*The rearend or differential is stock.*No power steering, it is stock.*Blinkers, brake lights, headlights all work.*No radio.*Wipers do not work, maybe all it needs is a fuse but haven't had time to look into it.*Gas tank meter doesn't seem to work correctly.*Speedometer is not working, and haven't had time to look into it. *Since I do not know the actual mileage on this vehicle, I listed it as 999,999 miles.*Carburetor doesn't have a choke, therefore on cold days you need to warm her up.*The driver side door lower hinge is loose, could use some attention, so that it will close smoothly and stay shut.*Since it's a CA vehicle, there doesn't seem to be much rust through issues, possibly around the lower areas.*I've replaced the door lock cylinders with an NOS/OEM lockable key.*I always get offers or thumbs up, when I drive this cool looking truck!
