This vehicle up for auction is a beautiful 1962 Chevy Impala 2dr ht. It's yellow acrylic enamel paint & black interior work great together. I have owned the car for 23 years, I slowly rebuilt it over a period of years. The engine is a totally rebuilt 1970's 350 ci. v8 with a 201-264 Isky super cam and a 9966 edelbrock 4 brl. carb. Trans. is a rebuilt turbo 350 with less than 300 mi. on both! Engine compartment is real nice, engine block matches car color, nice aluminum tappet covers, aluminum intake, electronic dist. black hose covers etc. Interior is in very good cond. black with new seat covers, carpet and sill plates. Chrome wire wheel baskets and good year eagle st 15 in. tires in good cond. Body is very nice with a few minor blemishes. Trim looks really nice with a few small imperfections. Underneath the car is in very good cond. covered with black undercoat and paint. Custom made dual exhaust with headers and turbo mufflers, exhaust dumps out in front of rear wheels with chrome tips, sounds really good! Car has standard steering and brakes, new master cyl., wheel cyls., and shoes. The vehicle is equipped with air cond. but not being used at this time. IT has the stock am radio and clock, not working. The windshield washer system is missing. Vehicle runs and drives great, no vibration, shaking or pull and brakes nice and straight. Front suspension has been rebuilt, ball joints, idler arm, A arm bushings ect. Rear end gear, I'm not sure, but might be a 3.55? In my 23 years of ownership and the previous owners ? years of ownership this car has never seen any bad weather! I think I am the 3rd owner. I have the paper work from the engine and trans shop to show what parts and machine work was done on engine and trans. I will be glad to answer any questions you may have.
