Vehicle Detail

This car is an authentic 1969 Dodge Charger RT/SE, that I'd handpicked from a field in NC.I had it completely rebuilt from the ground up. Bodywork, engine, undercarriage, ...everything. I was given an option on engine sizes and whether or not I wanted used, or rebuilt.I opted for a rebuilt 440 Magnum Big Block...removed the existing 383 and scoffed at the mention of a measly 318. I figured 2 questions would come most when people ask me about the car. 1. Does it have the horn? and yes... it does. A Wooloo...which plays Dixie perfectly! And, 2, Whats under the hood?. Again, I went with the 440 magnum. The only step up from that is a Hemi. At any rate, its been a wonderful car to own but since, I've bought 3 others of which 2 need constant attention (both antique). This General Lee got some fun use and now its time to let someone else enjoy it. 61,096 Miles were on original car then after the rebuilt engine, I have only put on 4,477 miles. I had the 727 transmission put in with the 440. Car is loud and proud. Always liked the sound it made while flying down the highway next to the jersey walls...sounds like a NASCAR. Interior done very, very well with no rips or tears. Suntec Tachometer installed after the fact, to check RPMs and is period/make correct. Comes with spare tire and spare belts. Post rebuild, I had a Kenwood stereo head unit put in, new speakers as well as 4 JL W4 Subwoofers in a custom fit box, that fits in trunk. Thumps if you want it to! Ipod connectivity not the headunit and headunit has video capability. I used to put on episodes of Dukes of Hazard when I'd show it. Very fun car! Garage kept (see pics) and totally babied. Oil changed on schedule as well as proper break in of the engine. Again, see pictures.Let me know if you've got any questions. iPhone case and driving shades go with the General!
