This 1957 TR3 Small Mouth is a great runner, and very solid body, absolutely no rust or bondo, solid metal all around " ontop and underneath. This is a late 1980's body off frame restoration, always stored indoors. This is my Fathers car, he is 89 yr's old and time for him to pass on his "baby" to someone else. Had carb's rebuilt and tuned up and gone over for any bugs. Machanics said tak is trying to show RPM's but needs cable or something else lubricated to get it humming again "can't remember what had to be lubricated" other gages fuel, heat, temp all work fine. Of the TR3's the Small Mouth is the rare model, and the ones that do bring the $$$ when very fine condition. The paint has age issues, has some checking and age chipping, pictures and also a Youtube vidio of car, enter in youtube search "1957 Triumph TR3 For Sale on Ebay" have nice walk around of car, and the car running. Windshield has small chip in it, no spider cracks coming from chip, so chip repair will solve problem. Left rear quater panel has small dent in it " shown on youtube video " Interior is in great shape. Has side curtains, each has a small tear of about 1" by support bracket, understand that is weak link on them. This TR3 has wheel skirts, leave them on or take them off, this car is very original, and no disappointments other than what I am disclosing. The convertible top is in great shape, as is the interior. Driven around locally for Sunday drives, and trailered to shows, and yes has gone on a couple of road trips with Triumph Club, have to do that !! Needs to be enjoyed !! Very reasonable reserve on this TR3, and high bidder will be very happy. The mileage is unknown, can not verify if mialage on odometer is original ?? This car can be enjoyed as is, or you can invest a little time & money, and will be rewarded with your return on investment !! If I have left anything out, I am sorry and it would be a minor item.
