I decided to surprise my wife with a Jeep just like the one I had when we met. She LOVED that Jeep. I found the EXACT same Jeep except my old one had A/C. Same year, color, both manuals, and both Sahara's. The only problem is she HATES Jeeps, really hates them. Apparently she pretended to "love" the jeep, because I loved it. It's pretty safe to say my surprise didn't go as planned. I had saved up the money to buy myself a CTS-V and then decided to surprise her. Oops. Now I am selling the Jeep (it hasn't even been registered yet) and buying my V! I know I will lose money since I paid $10,000 (Including 5 brand new 31" tires) after all is said and done. It will go no matter what, I can't buy the V until this is gone. There is no reserve, however I have one so that the "buy it now" doesnt disappear after the 1st bid. I will remove it before the auction ends. Now about the Jeep... This is a 1999 Jeep Wrangler Sahara and like all other Wranglers its a 4x4. It has 147,687 miles on it. This has the very popular, virtually indestructable 4.0 straight 6 The frame is solid with only minor surface rust. It is really hard to find a solid frame under TJ's these days. There are a few spots on the fenders, rear hinges, and the corner of the tub where you can see some minor surface rust bubbling up. There is also a scratch on the hood that most likely wont buff out. The Top is in decent shape. There are no cuts or deep scratches in the windows. The windows are sort of hazed, but that is common. Other then that this is a very solid. This Jeep is not lifted and has not seen any major modifications. I upgraded all of the speaker including seperate in the sound bar. I installed a single din stereo with a removable faceplate. This stereo is awsome! It can be controlled with an ap on a smartphone. It was bought brand new at Best Buy. I also upgraded all of the interior lights with LED Lights. It needs the LED flasher relay, which I will get. I installed a LED strip in the glovebox which lights up when the glovebox is open. I installed LED strips along the side of the inside tub and square LED dome light under the front seats to illuminate the floor at night better. They light up the whole floor of the Jeep. It needs a center console lid which I will get. It also needs an a/c and heater controller, which I which I will get. It needs a driver side visor, which I'll replace. I had brand new Mastercraft Courser AXT tires put on the week I bought the Jeep, including the spare. I also changed the oil and flushed the cooling system right away. I had a radiator and water pump installed in it as well. This Jeep runs strong and everything in it works properly. For the age of the Jeep, it runs and looks amazing!!! This jeep looks great and runs just as good. It is really hard to find a nice Wrangler with a solid frame these days, especially in the North East. I would not hesitate to drive this Jeep anywhere in the country, wether its roads or trails. Feel free to contact me with any questions. I will be completely honest with anything you ask me.
