Hi, I'm selling my beloved 2002 BMW 540i Sport M62 with apx 133K miles. I recently purchased a new car and can't afford to keep them all on the road. It has been a joy to drive and own these last couple years and has given me no problems. It is dark blue with a black interior. The exterior is very nice but for a couple small dings and road rash on the hood. From 15 ft it looks near new. The interior is also very nice with no leather issues or tears. The only issue with interior is the right seat has the usual cable slip issue for the backrest. I have a couple cables for it but never got around to changing ( I don't sit in the right seat :) I will include the parts though. The drink trays swing fine but arms are weak or broke ( lousy design ). It has all the options expect for NAV/GPS I believe. Sport seats with Lumbar, Sport Steering wheel, Heated seats, Two good keys. The Motor is strong with no noise issues or smoke. It had the Dinan Stage Two programming done on it before I purchased as well as a Dinan Transmission tuning program completed. It basically adds a few horses to the Motor and allows more manual ( higher) shift points. I know it works but never really used. These things are rockets as it is.... The one issue Im aware of in the power train is I get secondary EGR valve code once in awhile. I can reset and it will eventually come back. I read it's either the valve or seal in that area. The EGR pump was replaced before I got it. I have the original receipts from Dinan with the software codes/dates etc, If that matters to you. The tires are fair.. It just passed a PA State inspection but Its has one tire that seems to need a balance or has a flat spot. Mostly in the 40- 55 MPH range. I'll add more if I think of anything else. Its winter here and I hate to let it sit outside so this is a NO RESERVE auction starting at a VERY low price. Need at least a deposit within 24hrs and balance in 3 days. It was in 2009, long before I purchased. Carfax indicates it was right side minor damage. Previous seller said it was a headlight and bumper skin paint repair at dealer. Never concerned me, but if it does you, please keep in mind.. I noticed the built in battery indicator shows black after a few days ( not green ) and had to jump once last winter after it sat a month so I decided to go ahead and put a new one in for the new buyer. ( or my lucky son if it doesn't sell ) New Battery in as of SAT 12/6. Tires rotated ( front to rear) Rear tires are still pretty good ( at least half I would estimate) The fronts (now) need replaced soon. Still has slight vibration in that 45-50 range. Not REAL bad but I'm picky if my cars don't feel perfect. These wheels are 17 x 8 Rial Salerno's with Comp T/A 245x45 tires all around . Get two for the front to match and you should be good for quite awhile. The car is WET in these pictures.. Been raining here for 3 days. What you see is water.. NOT defects in all the paint and glass... As stated before it has a few small dings and some road rash ( nicks) on the hood as well as a couple clear spots that faded and were touched up at some point. Its not new guys.. its 12 years old with original paint. But most of it is perfect and a beauty in the rain or sun. Thanks
