***I HATE TO DO IT BUT PRICE REDUCED **** FOR SALE 1968 FORD MUSTANG ! I purchased this car in 2011 from a friend who had owned it since 1969 in the pictures I have included the original owners manual that has been with the car since 1968. This is a very well maintained and well taken care of rust free car. The car has a great body very strait and all original (except the color which I changed I hate white but I painted over the original paint so only 2 layers). I painted the car about 6 months ago with a flat finish and with the brand new torque thrust wheels and new tires it looks great. Car drives like a dream with the 3 speed manual transmission which has been restored with a new clutch and brand new first and second gear. I took off the stock shorty headers and replaced them with flow tech long tube headers and Glass pack turndown exhaust. Car has a new aluminum radiator which keeps it very cool. It has a 4 barrel carb and sounds really mean on the road. Feel free to ask questions about the car and I will do my best to answer them don't let this piece of well preserved history get away from you. I have been driving this car 2 to 3 times a week since the day I bought it I believe the mileage to be accurate at 69000. The interior of the car is next to perfect and I added a brand new retro digital stereo and new 6X9 speakers and it sounds amazing. I take this car to the Good Guys car show and I get nothing but compliments and head turns. - New Paint 8 months ago ( The car was originally white I painted it 1971 medium green but I went with a flat finish no clear coat)- New Aluminum Radiator.- New Power Steering Pump.- New Coil Springs and Gas Adjust KYB Shocks up Front.- New Monroe Air Shocks in the rear.- New Clutch.- First and Second Gear were rebuilt in the Tranny.- New Retro Digital Stereo and Nertz 6x9 Speakers professionally installed.- New Torque Thrust wheels and Tires 9.5" in the rear 9" in the front you can't go any wider on this car.- Long Tube Flow Tech Headers with Glass Packs and Turn Down at the axle exhaust- New seat belts in the back seat. Some of the Bad: - Trunk needs to be re aligned due to stereo installer not placing trunk springs back in.- Lower Power Steering hose needs to be replaced.- Paint has small chips here and there and underneath the gas port some paint wear do to gas spilling when filling.- A/C needs recharge ( Blows Ice cold when charged) This car is a 3 speed manual you won't find a car this well preserved for the price..
