This car has been re-listed because the highest bidder of the last auction wasn't able to pay. Excellent opportunity to own a very nice, original, white on black, 1988 BMW E30 M3 with 140,600 miles. ****Clear & Clean Title**** Proper vin tags and body panels. Engine runs extremely hard and strong, especially in higher RPMs. This car could easily achieve its top end and handles like it's on rails. 16in chrome BBS wheels, Racing dynamics strut brace and after market exhaust (kind of loud...brand unknown). Original wheels and radio included with the sale. My father (the 3rd owner) enjoyed this Sunday car for 11 years driving it less than 18K miles. Overall this M is straight, clean, and something to be proud of. The original paint still shines bright and all the glass is clear with proper stamped insignia. Rust is a non-issue with the only visible signs being minor surface rust underneath...so minor a car enthusiast friend of mine described it as patina (most obvious on the rear diff). The interior is also in great condition with typical wear on the front leather seats and steering wheel. The front dash looks almost new as well as the plastic trim, leather door & side panels, and the majority of the headliner (minus the sunroof). The carpet is in good condition with the majority of the wear being in the trunk (where it should be). The rear seat and seat back are in good condition with no rips or tears (except for the common split seams on the top of the seat back). If I were to keep this car I would do the following immediately: replace the missing bolt covers on the front clip, repair fog lights & hood strut to working condition, replace the front M3 emblem & chrome grill, replace the missing drivers side indicator light, repair the overhead check panel (I've been told this is probably due to a common ground issue), replace/repair the OBC, and repaint the rear wing (bugs me the most). After wearing out the existing tires having fun I'd probably restore the original wheels and sell the chrome ones. As time passed you could replace the cracked rear ash tray, replace missing driver cardboard panel behind pedals that covers up wiring looms, replace missing tools, repair the sunroof headliner, replace the floor mats, and repair the rear deck carpet and split seams on top of rear seat. Although this car is in such good condition, it does have some door dings, scrapes & marks, as to be expected for a 26 year old vehicle. Looks as though someone tried to touch up a couple of these areas (the most noticeable on the right rear bumper). There is a small raised "pimple" on the hood, small ding marks under both side mirrors, small ding mark on drivers side window trim door & middle of door (touched up). There is tire rub where the over-sized wheels/rubber have grabbed the inner lips of both front fenders. I have no records of service on this vehicle. My father used Rick Hill Imports and a local BMW guy to do routine maintenance. I've included a couple of YouTube videos...judge for yourself!
