Lets start with the body. There are no dents, dings or rust on this car, she's solid. The paint is absolutely gorgeous! And best of all, it's black! The Interior is original and still in fantastic condition. There is one small rip on the bottom side of drivers seat (hardly noticeable) about a half inch long. That's it. The rest of the interior has no issues what so ever. The headliner is perfect. The carpet is showing some fading but no tears and it's very clean. The trunk is solid and extremely clean. Still has a valid NYS Inspection sticker on her. High beams, low beams, signal lights and reverse lights all work perfect. As do the interior lights. This Studebaker runs and drives great! It sports a 289 Clover engine. There is a picture of the clover stamp in my photos. It's the heavy duty factory replacement motor, which means it has an aluminum timing gear instead of fiber. Heavy duty engine bearings and piston rings. It's the one to have. It sounds mean, runs strong and looks fantastic. This Studebaker also has the TT option, which means Twin Traction. I had it up on a lift to confirm that it has posi traction and it does. It also has a 3-speed manual transmission with overdrive. It goes into gear fine and clutch feels great. This car is very reliable, you can drive this car every day. So, lets recap.. We have a beautiful 2 door, non-post, V8, posi traction, 3-speed jet black Studebaker! How can you go wrong?
