1970 JEEPSTER COMMANDO Story on this jeepster goes is, it is a 2 owner commando and the previous owner who i bought it from, bought it sometime in 1970. He then drove it and let it sit in his barn for about 20 years with occasional use. This jeep still has 1980s tires on it ! The body and paint are in acceptable condition, The jeep was last repainted about 15 years ago in the factory pale yellow. There are chips and slight bubbling in certain areas but overall a very solid jeep. There was floor pan patches at the time of the repaint that i would consider mediocre but are soild. just trying to be honest here. the pictures show the jeep very well can take more upon request odometer reads 01941 im going to assume that is 101941 all lights work heater works everything operates as it should have not tried 4x4 CARBURATOR REBUILTNEW FUEL NEW FILTERNEW PLUGS NEW WIRESNEW CAP / ROTORNEW BATTERYFIRED RIGHT OVER AFTER SOME CARB ADJUSTMENTS HOWEVER, MAY STILL NEED SLIGHT ADJUSTMENT. AT THIS TIME THE JEEP IS RUNNING AND DRIVING AND IDLING AS IT SHOULD AND GOES THROUGH ALL THE GEARS. DRIVELINE IS DAUNTLESS V6 ENGINE3 SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION 4 WHEEL DRIVE THIS JEEP STILL NEEDS MINOR THINGS SUCH AS A DRIVER MIRROR HAS A EXHAUST LEAK AT THE MUFFLERTAILGATE INNER LATCHES AND COULD USE SOME NEW DOOR SEALS THIS IS BEING SOLD AS-IS WHERE IS NO WARRANTIES IMPLIED OR GIVEN973 886 2189 FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME WITH QUESTIONS
