1972 Ford F250 4x4 altered stock high performance pulling truck. This truck was professionaly built from the ground up in the summer of 2011. 472 cubic inch big block ford. Eagle crank and eagle rods. 13 to 1 compression. 14 bolt chevy rear end. Dana 60 ford front end. 4.56 gears. NP 435 transmission and NP 205T transfer case. Cobra jet heads. Holly dominator 4 barrel carberator. Holly electric fuel pump. Open headers. Mallory high fire 6 microprocessor ingnition. Promaster coil. MSD street fire plug wires. Ford racing valve covers. Summit oil pressure and water temperature gauges. Auto tech 10,000 rpm tachometer with memory. Edlebrock intake manifold. Electric cooling fan. Truck has hydraulic steering with custom made oil reservoir. Warn lockouts. Tires are BFG 35x12.5R15LT all terrain t/a's mounted on black 8 spoke, 8 lug wheels. Truck comes with 2 sets of spacer rings for front tires so you can adjust stagger. 2 new interstate high cycle batteries were installed in july of 2014, 950CCA each. 20 gallon fuel cell mounted in bed of truck on drivers side. Clutch is a terre haute performance clutch and it holds really well. When truck was built it was completely dismantled, frame was professionally sand blasted and painted. Rear end is completely blocked for pulling with a fully adjustable custom hitch. Front stabilizer bars and rancho front shocks. Truck has a custom made front weight bracket that can be rmoved in just a matter of seconds and 2 front tow hooks. Truck does not have a alternator, it has a generating system mounted in the bed that keeps the batteries charged. In the cab the truck has 2 brand new fire extinguishers, a brand new OMP racing seat with a brand new G-force pro series racing harness. 4 speed transmission, and you can pull this truck in 1st or 2nd gear. Truck weighs approximately 5450 pounds so you can pull in 6000 pound class and up. Previous owners who built this truck pulled it 2 years and were very competitive. I pulled it last year and was top 3 truck at every pull. I have 2 many hobbies so I am selling this truck to pursue my other hobbies. When this truck was built they spent between $ 17,000 and $19,000 with approximately $8,000 on the motor !!! The big block 472 makes around 625-650 horsepower at 7200-7400 rpm. Motor developed a small tap at the next to last pull of the season, it comes and goes and my mechanic thinks it is just probably a lifter. Body is original 1972 and I am including the original owners manual ! Also included in this package are 11 new carquest high performance oil filters, 2 new high performance carquest fuel filters and 2 VP racing poly fuel cans. Since motor was built oil has been changed after EVERY pull with shell rotella 15W-40 motor oil. Truck runs on 111 or 113 octane racing fuel. We have always used Sunoco or cam 2 racing fuel. Truck has all safety equipment needed to pull in 4x4 altered stock gas classes. This is going to make someone a great pulling truck !
