1988 Land Cruiser LJ70 Series Turbo diesel 5 speed manual transmission 4x4 Electric differential locking, 30-35mpg awesome daily driver ! I sold this land cruiser last year, after having completely rebuilt the engine, new turbo installed, rebuilt head, new gaskets, redone injectors, pump seals, timing belt...etc runs now like new ! Customer wanted to have repainted from white to a British green, he gave me a $500 deposit ...never saw it again. I spend between metal sheets replacements, bare metal preparation, and painting over $5000 in labor and material plus my cost to acquire the rig, repairing the engine and importing it...You get the picture ! My losses your gain. The truck is now rust free, Ex French import, when I got the truck purchased unseen. They was rust spots hidden with bondo and over sprayed, engine was not running....you get the picture!!!I It has been proffesionnaly bare metal sanded, primed and re-primed, blocked, sealed and painted. Not a show truck, but a GREAT DAILY RUNNER that get you anywhere with snow, mud, you name it anything at 30-35MPG !!!!!! Its a 2 seaters, I can get a rear bench for $350 if needed I found one online. The signal turn are inop. and the inner doors/frame are still white as well as the engine bay. Side rear windows and rear sunroof has been shut sealed. As for the mechanical part the engine/clutch/transmission/transfer case/turbo are 100% reliable, and engine doesn't smoke, crank right up, can be driven anywhere in the country with no trouble. Note: being a Euro truck, all instruments are in KM still.197.900 Miles is 320k The 4 wheel drive shift is super simple, green AWD PUSH BUTTON and there you are go in AWD, easy-peasy ! Clutch, transmission 5 speed and reverse shift very smoothly, mechanically wise a very RELIABLE AND SOLID truck, get you lot of torque and power at 33MPG. Truck is sold with a VT registration and can be title anywhere in the US or Canada, the truck as been legally imported last year from France. EXCELLENT STRONG ENGINE, 100% RELIABLE , SOLID FRAME & BODY, THIS TURBO DIESEL CAN BE DRIVEN ANYWHERE ! A non refundable deposit of $500 is required via Paypal, end of auction (directly after the end or will be re - listed) the remainder due in cash/cashier check or bank wire transfer.I can arrange pick up at the Plattsburgh airport (we are 10 minutes away), Amtrak or Greyhound station with a couple of day notice.Storage is free for the first 10 days, after that a $90 a month apply.Sold as is, where is, no warranty implied, Sorry no trades.
