Vehicle Detail
This is a nice restored 1969 honda z50 k1 with a neat story! A friend of mine bought this bike 20 years ago as a basketcase. He came into some money and decided to go down to the local honda shop and start ordering every part in the microfische!! I have reciepts for all the parts that were ordered, including the gas tank, seat, fenders, bars, wiring harness, etc,all NOS parts! About $2500 in parts back in 93,pretty costly back then!! I talked him into selling it to me a couple of years ago,as it all was up in his attic still after 20 years! I have to admit opening up all those honda boxes was a treat! I restored the bike, and it has been in my office ever since.I did not assemble the engine internals(piston, cam, crank, etc so it does not run and never intended to ride it, but it comes with all the original engine parts as well as new, cam , piston, etc.It is not %100 correct, should have plastic levers, but the fact that it is almost all nos honda parts is rare these days. I do not have a title so it is sold as is with a bill of sale.I will help in any way with shipping(palletize) and can be picked up at my commercial address.Buyer responsible for shipping arrangments. This will be sold at no reserve! so bid to win!! Thanks and please have good feedback! It is an early silver tag k1 with 98% nos honda parts. I am currently looking for the tag and I do have pics of the restoration to prove the silver tag was on the frame before being media blasted. I also have some pics of the boxes of parts before starting the resto. Most of these bikes that are restored today use all knock off reproduction parts and they sell for good money. This is a rare opportunity to get a great Z50 k1 !
