Vehicle Detail

You are bidding on my pride and joy that I tore apart years ago with big plans and life happened. I bought this car in may of 1997 when I was 15 years old. It originally had the 350 rocket engine in it and was completely original with the exception of a repaint in the early 90's by the owner I purchased the car from. It had 57,000 miles on it then. After graduating high school and saving all of my money for nothing but my car, I found a low mileage 455 out of a 71 Ninety Eight and had it built by the best Automotive Machine & Performance in Owensboro Ky. They have done many B-O-P builds and had a 455 build featured in Engine Masters magazine. I spent over $6,000 on the engine build and it was worth every penny. I drove it for 2 more years and then the worst idea I have ever had came to me. It had to be flawless and I was going to make it that way. Long story short... I tore it completely apart with plans on a frame off restoration, got a new job and had to move from my 60 x 40 shop and put the car in storage for a while. 3 moves and a family later and I have still never found the time to get started on it again and I get sick every time I see it in its current state. I know I will regret selling it someday but I don't have the time or room for it to just sit around anymore. The picture of me as a kid in front of it is exactly what it looked like when I started to tear it down. I know, I'm an idiot. I have every part that ever came off of the car with the exception of the original 350 motor plus quite a few extras I've collected along the way. 2 dashes, lots of trim, new weatherstripping, etc. The 455 still turns over by hand and was only on the road for 13,000 miles give or take a few. It was fully balanced and blue printed, bored .030 over with forged pistons, comp cams 261 k kit, Edelbrock performer intake, and chrome-moly rings. Everything was done right but will need a rebuild from sitting obviously. I could go on and on talking about this car because I know it inside and out but I will stop rambling now. If you have any questions please ask.
