Straight 1978 AMC Matador Barcelona II Coupe, 100% stock, 360 V8, 727 Automatic, No Rust Estate car, original owner had 36 years (‘78 to mid ‘14). Clean California title in hand, tags up to date, minor garage door rash on one side (owner was in 80's when she quit driving, see pics). One of 392 built in 1978. Factory two-tone paint Claret/Autumn Red with factory red pin striping, My kids insist the car looks better without the bumpers, however original bumpers do come with the car if you want them. Reason for selling: bought for the fun and challenge of bringing it back to life. (Wife not super happy about the 5 cars)! $10,500+ in receipts in past 64,000 miles (164K total miles on chassis, mostly highway retiree trips, car’s mechanical parts mostly rebuilt/replaced, Comes with file stuffed with maintenance and repair receipts).
