1972 Mercedes Benz 280se 4.5 Offered is this Survivor '72 Mercedes Benz 280se 4.5. In its day this was the quintessential Mercedes HOT ROD. Short wheel base sedan with the 4.5 liter engine. The Blue on Blue is very attractive and it would make a great project for someone to tackle. The body is in very good condition with good panel fit and closing gaps. There is minimal rust in the rear wheel arches behind the wheels, both sides. Also some minor "textbook Mercedes" rust in the lower portion of the spare tire wells at the drain orifice. The 280 is equipped with A/C and am/fm radio, neither of which is currently operable. The glass is all good. The interior is very good, overall with the exception of the drivers' seat lower cushion. The car starts, drives and stops. The shocks are KYB gas adjusts that are fairly new. The instruments all function as they should. All lights, including the courtesy lamps and glove box light are functional. Spare tire, wheel and jack are included. The inside of the trunk is clean with no rust or rot except previously mentioned. That's about all the information I have on this Mercedes. The floors and rockers appear to be rust free and very solid.
